Fleeing Artists Theatre
Our Premiere Season
The Fleeing Artists would like to extend a huge thank-you to all of our supporters as we built our little theater company from the ground up and premiered our first season! Without help and support from the community we would not be where we are today - approaching our sixth season of our Summer Shakespeare/Classics series and about to release our full second season schedule!
Over the last year we performed Euripide's Medea, William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Tennessee William's The Glass Menagerie, John Cariani's Almost Maine, and original productions of Secre(a)ts by Kameron Schueneman and Built of Ivory by Pharyne Stephney Gremore - two local playwrights!
We have learned a lot over the last year as a company, have certainly grown from our initial creation. There have may have been some ups and downs, but what would life be without moments of excitement and challenge? Moments like these spur some of the best art. We have welcomed a large number of new actors and designers to our team. We couldn't be happier for these new friendships we have fostered. Through theater you find a family, and a place of belonging and we have absolutely, and happily, expanded ours.
As we enter our second season, we hope to bring you the same high-quality, passionate, art that you enjoyed throughout our first season. We are always welcoming new faces and project ideas. Again, thank you so much for your continued support. Our passion is theater, and bringing art to the greater Kenosha area. We want to provide opportunities for both locals who are unfamiliar with theater, and those who are avid fans, to see performances produced by an energized, inclusive, eager company.
