A Christmas Carol

The holidays are fast approaching, and once again the Fleeing Artists will be producing their acclaimed version of Charles Dickens' classic story, A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

Performs December 20-22.

In this magical re-retelling of the story, a small ensemble of 8 actors portray all 40+ characters: everyone from Scrooge to Tiny Tim.

Directed by Rick Bingen. Adapted by Alex Metalsky from the novella by Charles Dickens.

Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL tells the story of the miserly Ebeneezer Scrooge, whose love of wealth and distaste for humanity puts him on a dangerous path heading for eternal suffering. But, over the course of a single night, three Spirits show Scrooge his Past mistakes, Present opportunities, and Future regrets, in a bid to redeem his soul and teach him how to become a better person.

The quintessential holiday ghost story, this version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL is done in the style of Storyteller Theatre. Inspired by the famous Royal Shakespeare Company's rendition of "Nicholas Nickelby", CHRISTMAS CAROL features a small cast of 8 actors playing all 40+ characters, who also function as Narrators to pepper the scenes with Dickens' marvelous writing.
